Hi friends! Welcome to Sweet Jesus Girls blog, I am so glad you are here.
My name is Nicole Hutchison and I am from Kentucky but moved to Texas in 2004. I am married to Husband (yep, that’s what I call him!) and we have one son, Kamden. After graduating college, I earned my stripes in corporate marketing before heading into the lions’ den: an inner-city middle school classroom. I taught social studies and language arts until 2013 when Kamden was born and I became a stay-at-home mom. I will return to the workforce someday but until then, I love being a boy mom. My days consists of Big Wheel trucks, dirt, and finding goldfish crackers between the couch cushions. I try to exercise four days a week but one look at me and you know I really – really – love food. I also love feasting on God’s Word by digging deeper and snuggling closer to The One who created me to be in relationship with Him. I write about things I love, especially Jesus, and I learn more about Him when I share personal study reflections, Bible Journaling pages, and lay my struggles as a woman, wife, mother, and friend at His feet.
In addition to God’s servant, Husband’s wife, and Kamden’s mom, I am also a writer and photographer at Three 31, my personal blog.
SJG is a safe place to worship, learn and study God’s Word, and be in fellowship with other Christians. Cristi, Jan, and I hope to encourage you, empower you, and, perhaps, even humor you as we navigate our own struggles and celebrations of life. Thank you so much for joining us.
