About Jan

Have you ever felt there was something more in this life you were called to do?

Hi, I’m Jan.  I’m a lover of Jesus, a wife, mom, nurse and farm-hand living in the middle of nowhere, Texas doing my best to answer the call God has on my heart.

After much prayer and some definite signs from God,  I knew what He was asking of me and what I had to do.  Writing, speaking, leading was never in my plans until Jesus said, “Go!”  I’m still not sure what it will look like.

2015 will be my first year to attend P31’s She Speaks Conference; something God has placed in my path more times than I can count!  I’m excited, but a little anxious to take the plunge.  I continue to remind myself of the words of Rick Yancy, “God doesn’t call the equipped, son. God equips the called. And you have been called.”

I covet your prayers for a God-honoring ministry and blog that exists to bring glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We are certainly a work-in-progress with a desire to grow God’s kingdom.

Welcome to Sweet Jesus Girls!

I’m from Texas too! Dallas area. Great to meet you. This was my first She Speaks conference as well. Not sure where I’m headed, but I’m willing to go.

    Blessings,
    Lisa
